Beyond #HB2279s importance, the moment felt extra significant… Two years ago @erinforyall came to testify alongside @deedsnotwords on behalf of sexual violence related legislation, and Rep. Chris Turner sent her a thank you note via our office which I then promptly forgot to pass along to her. I finally got to deliver it this morning after being called on to testify for a related bill she herself filed, now as a state legislator, just one session later. @wendydavistexas, the pipelineits working!
