Hello our beloved Texas #ChangeMakers,

We've missed you, but hope you've all had a chance to rest up since the end of the legislative session, when your voices helped pass 7 laws to keep Texans safe.

It's been a while, but we're baaaaack. Because it's time to...

The Special Session starts TOMORROW here in Texas, and we'll need each and everyone one of you these next 30 days to help protect our health, our economy, our kids and our community from the onslaught of harmful legislation we're up against.

Sooo... what is a "Special Session"? One of our badass interns, Courtney Joyner, Senior Videographer for the Daily Texan, helps explain:

Not sure what's at stake, or how you can get involved?

Tomorrow's Day of Action is a great place to start. Our founder Wendy Davis will be helping to lead a training at 10AM in Room 140 of the Reagan Building on the Capitol complex.

Have to work?

Take your lunch break to raise your voice at the Rally on the South Steps of the Capitol at 1PM!

Stressed out already just thinking about it?

Join us for the wrap-up happy hour at Scholz Garden at 4PM for a much needed beverage!
